Salt Proofing Your Bike Over Winter
« on: November 18, 2016, 11:18:02 am »
I was sent this link by the a friend of mine who is the Secretary and Spares Officer for the JAWA/CZ Owners Club GB. It is a test that the owner of F2 Motorcycles carried out to see what the best product is for winter proofing your motorcycle.

Not much text, lots of pictures and definitely worth a look.  ;)

cheers
Jason

I found the FS365 was a complete waste of time too.  I do have got a can of ACF50 in the garage, but as I can't remember what I used it on, I can't vouch for its' effectiveness.  I'd best go and spray something.

well....I read a comment somewhere about ACF50 being very thick and difficult to apply and that successive applications made it difficult to remove as well, but, as I don't use it, I can't otherwise comment.

I do use FS365 - wash off and re-apply after every trip out in the winter - and it seems to work for me, especially if you buy it in bulk not in litre spray bottles.
