Class R on a Motorcycle. Information required please.
« on: December 30, 2019, 12:36:10 pm »
Thinking of entering Class R on the Lands End on a large capacity Motorcycle. (Would be Class C or F in the main trial).
For 34 years I have either done the main trial both Motorcycle or Car, or marshalled.

So:

1. Is this do-able on “Road Tyres” i.e. Pirelli Dragon or Michelin Pilot or similar?

2. Is the entire route on good well maintained roads?

3. Is there a route-card issued well before the start date, so I can change it to suit my road-book?

4. Does it finish at the same place as the main trial?

5. Any other major differences or things I should be aware of?

Many thanks.  :)

and it should be all tarmac as was the Edinburgh. Looking forward we plan to make it even more accessible and less of a challenge for 2020 just need a volunteer to run it.
