Encourage a friend to enter the Exeter Trial this January
« on: November 01, 2019, 08:22:39 am »

If you are an MCC member then you are reading this post, but what about your friends who are not members? Its never been easier for VMCC or TRF members to get an experience of our trials in the motorcycle classes.

Entering as a TRF or VMCC member could not be easier……

If they have an ACU licence, they can email the Secretary of the Meeting, dave@sappfamily.co.uk and ask for a temporary membership number.

Then go to www.themotorcyclingclub.org.uk and ‘online entry’ and sign in and complete the online entry form.

If they don’t have an ACU licence and don't belong to an ACU affiliated club, they can email Dave Sapp anyway.

The entry fee is £80 at the moment but this goes up to £89 from 11th November.

Full details of the event are elsewhere on the MCC website and on the MCC Facebook page.

From Keith Johnson:

Exeter Trial waiting list
Due to popular demand, we've opened a waiting list for the Main Trial and will open a waiting list for class R when class R  is filled. To join the reserve list go into the event entry system in My Club House and choose your event. Click on the 'Reserve List' button and enter your details. You will not be charged at this point.

When an entrant withdraws, the first person on each event 'reserve list' will be offered that place [at that start venue and start time] by email and will need to pay to confirm their acceptance within 48 hours. If they don't accept, their reserved place is cancelled and the next person is offered the place and so on.

In order to maximise opportunities for R class competitors, it will not be possible for R class entrants to be both on a reserve list for the main Trial and have an entry for R class. The waiting list will close finally at noon on 24th December 2020.

Withdrawal of entry or withdrawal from the waiting list
If you want to withdraw your entry or want to withdraw from the reserve list please email the event secretary.

Starting location, early/late starting, travelling marshals, running partners and add ons
Those Members who have secured an entry, will be emailed in the next week by the event secretary with a request to confirm these details.
