I was looking at those Yamaha TW225's. They use the serow engine but have a fat rear tyre. Wasn't sure weather this would be a good thing or not.

Wasn't sure weather this would be a good thing or not.Clive Cook entered a parts bin special in the Lands End 2019, using a 14" TW125/200 rear wheel, see http://www.themotorcyclingclub.org.uk/forum/index.php?topic=286.0 . I don't know how effective the fat rear tyre is.
It is a kawasaki z400 twin. And I think it was his fist event. Wonder if he still has the bike and if he's doing the LE again this year.
Think we are getting mixed up Steve. We were referring to the Kawasaki on Paul's link with the fat rear tyre and not the Honda pictured at the top of this thread.I've reattached the link belowhttp://www.themotorcyclingclub.org.uk/forum/index.php?topic=286.0 Rather confusingly it says Yamaha on the tank. Hahahaha
