1993 Exeter Trial
« on: January 10, 2019, 06:26:42 pm »
Nice film, with one or two familiar faces, here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GnXTCeihpaU

Is the footage much different to what was captured last weekend?

It's often said of late the hills have got harder, but they look as if they were just as difficult back then.

I would agree certainly as far as Woosten was concerned, but Tillerton and Slippery Sam looked much less dug out then. What with Morgans, a Toledo, a Honda 400/4, his son's ER 80 (?), big Beemers etc it looked wetter but more straightforward than last weekend. Fascinating selection of bikes and cars.

Yes, good find.

It looks like an RD250LC or RD350LC at 19:10.

Still a few BMW twins being campaigned now, I heard there'll be one entered in the Land's End  ;)

There will be.  Possibly more than one!  We'll have to see.

Hahahaha, that's great footage.

We all found 16 year old Tony Hayes comment very funny.

I've been there and done exactly that.

Good effort.

Ian and Buttercup in good form; shortly followed at 31m 45s by my Samba coming to rest right in front on the camera!
