Exeter Trial 2019 - Marshals Needed
« on: October 19, 2018, 06:49:12 pm »
The next Exeter Trial is to be run on 4th and 5th January 2019, and we need marshals to run the event. If youíre not competing then this is an ideal opportunity to make a difference by putting something back into the MCC and its events. If youíre new to the MCC, then observing is a great way to learn about the big three trials before taking the plunge with an entry. You donít have to be a member to help out. Weíll do our best to assign you to a favourite section if so desired. If you donít want to be outside but still want to help, then there are some indoor positions available. Interested? Please email exeter.marshals@themotorcyclingclub.org.uk or call Ian on 07717 093228, preferably between 8pm and 9pm.

Yo Mr T.  I am still recovering from spinal surgery. So at the moment probably not.

Two years ago I was Route Marshal. Did Popham. Then Special test at Haynes when the "Volunteer" walked off when it started raining. Then went on to the breakfast Halt to sort out the Car Park. Afterwards marshaled at Donkey Trot followed by a stint at the top of Sims.. :)

It was as much fun as competing......

If not competing I usually Marshal or help in some way...

After all, it is the members that make the club.

Hi Ian, I'm new to the club but would be able to help if you still need people.
In the high latitudes of Finland and, in the parching heat of Africa, under the most different operating conditions these motor-cycles run to the satisfaction of their owners.

James, drop Ian an email at exeter.marshals@themotorcyclingclub.org.uk .  According to NOTW, he still has plenty of slots to fill :).

Thanks James.

Any more will be most welcome - we still need at least 20 more marshals.

Cheers,

Ian.
