Are any plans made for work on Simms to fill in those massive holes? If so it would be nice to know.

The following is information from Roger Ugalde, Clerk of Course, and highlights how things are unknown up to just 15 days before the start of the Exeter Trial.  No pressure then  :-[ .

'After months of waiting, yesterday we finally had the permissions to use Fingle, Wooston and Hitchcombe, hence the reason everything is so late, we had to go to print hoping we would be OK. We have to thank  David Rickwood (Woodland Trust) and Tom Wood (National Trust) who are 'on our side' and persuaded the hierarchy that we should continue to use their land for our sport.

We have lost the use of our first main trial section Classic Canes due to logging activities so now main trial and class 0 competitors will attempt Redscrip, already a class 0 hill.'
