Title: The Motor Cycling Club the definitive history of the Club book
Post by: Dermot Murray on July 23, 2020, 07:45:56 am
I have just begun reading this book, fascinating stuff.

It must have been a real adventure riding motorcycles and driving cars that were in their infancy, on roads that were mere tracks more suited to four legs.

even better if you have chance to watch some of the excellent films on the clubs youtube channel from the 1930s. many hills are still used today and /or available to walk or even drive up still.

I have seen some of the early footage, and I have been on some of the hills in Derbyshire but not ventured to any others yet.
