Accessing the Members' Pages

The Members' Pages are a password-protected area of the website. All current members may access them using their unique Username and Password as below:

  • Username: Your e-mail address (as used for the weekly and monthly e-mail newsletters).
  • Password: Your membership number (four digits + letter suffix - no spaces). Please note that members with two-digit and three-digit membership numbers must add the correct number of 'leading zeroes', e.g. 12L must be entered as 0012L, 123H must be entered as 0123H.
  • All questions relating to your registered e-mail address and membership number should be addressed to membership@themotorcyclingclub.org.uk. Please do not use any other e-mail address as your request may not reach the correct person to deal with your problem.

Possible logon problems

  • You are using the incorrect e-mail address, or your current e-mail address has not been registered with the Membership Secretary.
  • If you receive the weekly and monthly newsletters by email, check that you are using the same e-mail address when trying to logon to the Members' Pages. Otherwise, please update your registered e-mail address using the link above.
  • You have used the incorrect letter suffix. For your information, it should be one of the following:
    B (for bike), C (for car), H (for Honorary), L (for Life), P (for Passenger).
  • We are currently using a basic "unsecured" and unencrypted NT password system. Some corporate firewalls are configured to deny access to sites with a basic NT password system. If this is the case, the Username/Password dialogue box will not pop-up when you click the Members link in the header, and the "You are not authorized to view this page" message will be displayed instead. Please see if you are able to logon from another computer, e.g. your home computer.
